Parenting Workshops
The Community Support Society offers three or four parenting courses per year that are geared to the needs of the parents taking them and the ages of their children.
Our parenting courses are for Moms and Dads who want up-to-date information on their children’s health, safety, behaviour and development and who would enjoy the fun and rapport of being with other parents who share similar concerns.
The Courses
- Nobody’s Perfect is for parents of children ages birth to 5 years. Free childcare and transportation is provided if needed.
- The Middle Years – for parents of children ages 6-11
- The Teen Years
- Raising Children in Troubled Times – for parents of children ages 6-18
